These are our self drive car rental rates, per day. Longer rentals bring the daily rate down, and every figure below is what you pay — there is no separate booking fee.

Weekly and monthly columns show the per-day rate for those rental lengths. The deposit is refundable and returned after the car comes back, less any extra-KM charges or damage.
Before you compare quotes
A daily rate on its own does not tell you what a rental costs — the kilometre allowance and the extra-KM rate decide as much as the headline figure does.

What the figures above include, and what gets added.
Is the weekly rate the price for the whole week, or the rate per day?
Per day. The weekly column is what one day costs if you keep the car for a week, so seven days is that figure seven times — the monthly column works the same way. It is written per day because that is the only way to compare one car against another.
What does the daily rate cover, and what is added?
The vehicle and its daily kilometre allowance. Fuel is yours on a self drive car rental, and kilometres past the allowance are charged at the extra-KM rate in the same row. There is no booking fee and nothing is added at handover that is not in this table.
Is the deposit part of the rent or on top of it?
On top, and it is not a payment. It is held while you have the vehicle and comes back when the vehicle does, less anything genuinely owing — kilometres past the allowance, fuel if you return it lower than you took it, or damage.
How is the extra-KM charge worked out?
From the odometer. It is read and written down in front of you at handover and again when the vehicle comes back, and kilometres past the allowance are charged at the fixed rate in the table. Both numbers are on your booking as well, so there is nothing to work out at the end.
Why does a car say "On request" instead of a rate?
Because that rate is not published here. Tell us the car and your dates on WhatsApp or through the form and you get the figure, the kilometre allowance and the deposit in one message — before you book, not when you arrive.
Are these rates for the car on its own, without a driver?
Yes. Every figure in this table is for self drive car rental — you drive it yourself. A tourist vehicle with a driver is quoted separately, by the day or by the trip, because the driver's time and the distance are part of it.
Which is the cheapest car rental in Nagercoil you do?
One of the small hatchbacks — the WagonR or the Grand i10. They are the lowest daily rate on the table above and the cheapest to fuel, which matters more than the rate itself on a long day out. The per-day figure also falls as the hire gets longer, so the weekly and monthly columns are where a cheap car rental in Nagercoil actually gets cheap. Do you have a 7 seater, and an automatic?
Both, but not many of either. A 7 seater car rental in Nagercoil means the Rumion or the Innova — petrol if you are staying in the district, diesel if the day is mostly highway. An automatic car rental in Nagercoil means the Glanza, and there is one of it. Neither is a car to ask for on the morning you want it; a day or two of notice is usually the difference between having it and not.
Is a monthly rental cheaper than paying by the day?
Considerably. Weekly, fortnightly and monthly rates all bring the daily figure down, which is what most people on a work posting or a long stay take. Ask us for a monthly quote with the kilometres you expect to drive.
Do you provide a car with a driver for sightseeing?
Yes. Tourist vehicles come with a driver who knows the district, for Kanyakumari, Padmanabhapuram Palace, the temples and the beaches, by the day or for a full itinerary.
How early should a wedding car be booked?
As early as you can in the wedding season. Decorated cars and the premium vehicles go first, and the dates everybody wants are the ones that run out.
